Mountain lions are very visous with their food or prey.[1]
Prey is an animal that is being targeted from an animal higher in the
food chain, known as a predator. [2].
When the deer(prey)population goes up you then see a increse in the Mountain Lion(predator)population
for they all have enough food to eat to keep them alive. The same thing happens when the deer population goes down the
Mountain Lion population goes down, because the Mountain Lions do not have enough food to keep themselves alive and living healthy, So then they die off.[3]
Even though Mountain Lions kill off the deer (prey) they keep deer healthy by killing off most of the sick,weak and old
so it keeps the rest of the deer population healthy.[4]
this animal is a prey alot of animals eat this Moose.
This animal is a prey it gets attacked by a lot of other animals too.[5]
Predators are organisms that is hunting or feeds on its prey, that organisim is attacked.(in other words prey is animals tnat get attacked by an other animal for food.[6]
When the deer population is high there is a lot of erosion because when deer eat the grass and other items
it loosens up the soil and cause erosion.[7] References
