What is a predator?
A predator is a living organism that relies on eating other organisms to survive.[1]
A living thing that hunts and kills other animals for food. [3]
What is an example of a predator?
An example of a predator is a lion or a tiger because they feed off other animals in order to survive in the wild.[2]
An example of a predator is a mountain lion that feed off other animals such as deer.
Another example of a predator would be a cat (see above) hunting birds or even cat food.[4]
There are many examples of predators but the most fierce predator in the world is probably the Orca whale which eats everthing except humans.[5]
