What is a limiting factor?

Limiting factors include low food supply, predators, competition of other organisms from the same or different species, climate, & disease.[1]

The limiting factors on the files are the control size of the population. In class we did a lab on it and the amount of deer and mountain lions varied in Paraell Park. It might have to do with why the fish are dying. Erosion acurrs when the deer are overpopulated. At first the mountain loin population is low then keeps adding up as he deer get bigger, because there are more to kill. So there are a lot of lions, but not a lot of deer. The results can vary depending on how fast the populations grow up. Elmo Skeeto is the suspect he represents the hunters and fishers of Parraell Park, the population can go up and down very quickly. it does not always have to do with the increase or decrease of the population it can half to do with the food, and water available, also the space hey have to live in. When humans build houses on land it can cause limiting factors because qhen you build a house it takes away a animals habitat, which can cause increase and decrease in population.[2]
