What is a judge?

A judge is a public officer authorized to hear and decide cases in a court, [1]
Judges are in charge of trials, they make sure that the trials are fair. They decide if the case goes to trial. Judges research with legal issues. [2]
A judge or justice is also a offical who presides over a court. [3]
A judge decides if the defendant is guilty or innocent.
