What is Carrying Capacity?

Carrying Capacity is the population size that an area can support with the resources avalible resources to support.Carrying Capacity can increase or decrease. If more resources become available, then the Carrying Capacity will increase. If resources are used up or they decrease, then the Carrying Capacity will decrease.[1]
The carrying captivity of a ecosystem is never balanced it changes alot, the carrying captivity is like a roler coaster.[3]

The carrying capacity can also change depending on the food chain. If a predators prey becomes overpopulated(boom in population), then the carrying capacity for the preditors increases because the prey can now support a larger population of predators. If the predators prey experiences a decrease in population(crash), then they can no longer support the preditors in the area so in turn the carrying capacity decrases. [2]
Another way the carrying capacity can change is by some sort of natural disaster strikeing an area causing the carrying capacity to change drasticly because of the loss of habitat food and shelter.[2]
