Bioindicators are used in many experiments of scientists. They take the animal and they put it in an enviroment to see if the enviroment is healthy or not
If the animal lives and does fine then the enviroment may be healthy, but if the animal dies then the enviroment probably isn't healthy.[4]

If you pinch both of your thumbs and index fingers together, so that the hole forms a dimand your and just open them enough so you can see light, that can be a big has a bioindicator.[1]
